I often talk about how the road to becoming a fighter pilot is a matter of coupling the right kind of information (such as the information we offer on the Afterburner Club) with implementation (actually USING it!)
To better demonstrate the point, I want to show you that there really are only 4 types of people in the world and I have them listed below:
Type 1- No information/No implementation
This is the proverbial couch potato. I don’t feel in the least bit sorry for this guy. His daily diet of tabloid archeology TV shows, video games, and still living in his parents’ basement is all his own fault. He’s either convinced himself that he’s not capable of doing anything great or is too lazy to do it.
We all have temptation inside to give in to the lazy Type 1 life of ease, but I can tell you, if your dream is to become a fighter pilot and see yourself here, the good news is you can leave it behind immediately!
Type 2- All Information/No implementation
These are the know-it-alls who talk a big game, but never actually DO anything. Their favorite phrase is, “I’m going to do..”
“I’m going to ask her out.”
“I’m going to leave this town.”
“I’m going to become a fighter pilot.”
The problem is they never get around to actually doing these things, and EVEN WORSE, when YOU do something, they are the first in line to criticize and tell you how you SHOULD have done it! To avoid this trap, you have to take action and IMPLEMENT the information we offer on the Afterbrner Club, or you’ll go nowhere. It would make about as much sense as filing a perfectly mapped out flight plan and never taking off!
Type 3- No information/All implementation
These guys I actually DO feel sorry for. They’re like chickens running around with their heads cut off. They just go from one thing to the next, trying, trying, and trying harder. You have to give them some credit for at least trying, but they’ll never get anywhere because they don’t know what they’re doing.
To avoid this trap, you need a plan of action before you act. You need the right information!
Type 4- All Information/All Implementation
This is the goal! This is where you want to be- striving to be as well-informed as possible about your goals of becoming a fighter pilot and then DO IT!
