Though it is still more than 5 months away, I am getting pumped up for 2010’s Afterburner Club Meeting!
For those of you who joined us for our last Club Meeting in San Diego, you know all the great information that was passed around, the friendships that were created between the members that attended and with myself, and the fun we had!
These meetings are just another great part of the Afterburner Club that I want you all to participate in if you can, and one of the many benefits of joining this exclusive club. Free for all members to participate in, these meetings are a great way for me to connect with my members, for you to meet fellow future fighter pilots such as yourself, and make invaluable connections with professionals in the industry.
If you are new to the club, or didn’t get a chance to make it out to last summer’s meeting then you’ll definitely want to check out the pictures and videos of the great time we had at the USS Midway Carrier Museum found on the Afterburner Club home page. Along with an intro video of me with the great gang that made it out, you’ll find a short video about the F-18 Hornet and Super Hornet, some stories about experiences with recruiters, among a few others.
My affiliates and I are in the beginning stages of planning this year’s meeting which will take place sometime in June 2010. We are looking forward to offering our members another great experience with lots to do, tonnes of valuable information, and a great location. I will be sure to keep you posted as details become available, and we are always interested in hearing your feedback and ideas about meetings and any other club business.
I look forward to seeing old and new faces this June, and I can guarantee an amazing time!
