This month I was informed that I was selected for Euro-Nato Joint Jet Pilot Training out of Air Force ROTC.
This month I was informed that I was selected for Euro-Nato Joint Jet Pilot Training out of Air Force ROTC and will have an automatic T-38 track selection. I’ll be commissioning in June and should head to Sheppard AFB shortly after to begin training. This was the best news I could have hoped for and I owe a great deal of my success to the great advice I received through the Afterburner Club.
I’ve been a member of the Afterburner Club for more than a year, (in fact it might be two, I can’t even remember when I signed up but it was a while ago) and I’ve been reading the newsletters and listening to the cds every month.
Thank you for all the support and advice made available through the Afterburner Club and Fighter Pilot Power Pack. It’s been extremely helpful as I pursue my dream of flying fighters for the Air Force. It’s all really happening! I will definitely continue to listen to all the great advice (especially this month’s info on flight school) and share that advice with my fellow cadets who also dream of flying fighters one day.

It was the summer before my junior year at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, and I spent my remaining time in college preparing to go into OTS; but then I found out that I could do ROTC as a grad student and went for that route. The year before I started ROTC I earned my private pilot’s license near my old home in Pennsylvania.
A year and a half after starting AFROTC at San Diego State University, I just found out that I was selected for pilot! I commission as a Second Lieutenant in the USAF in December, and then I will go on to pilot training once I get my EAD.

I was offered a flight school contract on July 14th!
I ordered your Fighter Pilot Power Pack™ back in May with the intent to pursue the Marine Corps. However, my seated height was an inch over the maximum limit and therefore was disqualified from an air contract with the Marines. I bought your ”Fighter Pilot Power Pack” and joined the Afterburner Club andI recently been accepted for an aviation contract with the USMC through their Buffalo, NY OSO. I leave for OCS, TBS and Flight School in Pensecola, FL.
Ed’s Fighter Pilot Power Pack taught me everything necessary to speak the language of the military and the language of military pilots. I promise all you future pilots that the military quite nearly has it’s own language that needs to be learned to appropriately sell yourself to recruiters and selection boards. I remember learning from Ed that the USMC fit me the best of all three branches.
I remember learning that I had to study for the ASTB in order to be offered a flight contract. My favorite resource Ed offers is his monthly newsletter. I remember memorizing the pipe line of planes I’ll fly before getting to my dream plane (f-18) from these newsletters. I also remember memorizing the list of different color outfits worn by different Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) on the deck of a Navy carrier. You can absolutely trust Ed to show you the correct reliable path to find yourself in the cockpit of a fighter jet. All you have to do is follow his outlined path. Knowledge is power and will set you apart from the thousands of other applicants.
